Prompt-aligned landing page

Also known as: PALP

A landing page whose content maps directly to a specific AI-agent-driven query — headline, subhead, and social proof aligned with the exact prompt the shopper asked.

Prompt-aligned landing pages are designed to convert agent-referred shoppers by presenting content that mirrors the shopper's original query. If a shopper asked ChatGPT "what's the best organic baby formula for sensitive stomachs?", a prompt-aligned landing page for the recommended product would lead with headline copy explicitly answering that question.

The tactic bridges the gap between agent context (which the merchant can't see directly) and merchant landing page (which historically assumes the shopper came from generic search). It's a shoppable-funnel adjacent tactic, most useful for brands whose product-page content is more general than the specific query intent.

Implementation varies. Some vendors dynamically generate PALPs based on query intent hints in the referrer. Some brands maintain a small library of manually-created PALPs for their highest-value query categories.
