ChatGPT Merchant Center
OpenAI's product-feed submission channel — the direct path for brands to submit product catalogs to ChatGPT's shopping subsystem.
ChatGPT Merchant Center is where brands submit product feeds directly to OpenAI for indexing in ChatGPT's shopping surface. Analogous to Google Merchant Center for Shopping ads — but the feed powers organic AI product recommendations rather than paid placements.
Product feeds should include: stable unique identifier (GTIN preferred, SKU acceptable), full attribute set (title, brand, category, materials, size, color, condition, price, currency, availability, shipping rules, returns policy), and daily-refreshed freshness data.
Merchant Center feeds are one of three sources ChatGPT's shopping subsystem pulls from — the other two being ACP-enabled partner catalogs and general-web product pages with structured Product schema. Best practice: submit to Merchant Center + enable ACP + maintain rich on-page Product schema. All three compound.
